Chicago Showcase

The Team Wisconsin White Boys bounced back from their loss Thursday at the Chicago Showcase and dispatched Team Philadelphia 4-2 on Friday. Goals were scored by Vince Hagman, and Casey Lutz, with Cody Zebro notching two goals. On Saturday, Team Wisconsin White shutout Team Northwest 6-0. Scoring goals were Nic Belonger, David Hettenbach, Brody Zebro, Vince Hagman, Jake Calleja and Shawn Oelke. Their record is 3-1.

Team Wisconsin Red rattled off two wins to bring their record to 2-1-1. They took out Team New Jersey Friday 4-2 with Zach Kohn providing 2 goals and Ricky Wozniak and Tedd Falk also scoring. On Saturday, they defeated Team Northern New England 6-1 with goals by Zach Kohn, Tedd Falk, Alex West, Sean Graskey, Ryan Smet and Tedd Falk. Team Wisconsin Red now advances to the Semi-Finals.

The Team Wisconsin Girls finished Pool Play 4-0. On Friday they blanked Team Rocky Mountain 7-0 behind two goals for both Brianna Decker and Kim Tess-Wanat, as well as goals by Sarah Beth Suchla, Kayte Holtz and Emily Brienzo. On Saturday, Brianna Decker scored the first four goals of the game and Team Wisconsin cruised to a 7-1 victory over Team Mid-American. Also scoring goals were Lauren Ashley Unser, Jennifer Brown and Whitney Nelson. They will advance to the Semi-finals today, although nothing has been posted yet.
