Another Shootout But With a Different Result

Team USA and Team Canada tied for the second time in a week, but this time the stakes were for the rights to advance to the IIHF U-18 World Championship Game. Unlike the first time the two teams tied, Team USA won the shootout and thus the game by a score of 4-3. UW recruit Kyle Turris had a goal for Canada, and potential UW recruit Vinny Saponari had a goal for Team USA. Team USA will now face Russia on Sunday for the U-18 World Championship.
