Chris Hickey Injured

UW forward recruit Chris Hickey has apparently injured the Posterior Cruciate Ligament in one of his knees, and will be out for 5-7 weeks. He plays for defending Class AA State Champion Cretin-Derham Hall along with UW recruit Ryan McDonagh. Cretin-Derham Hall enters the season ranked #1.

I have mused that the Badgers will bring in Hickey next season rather than 2008 to alleviate the logjam of forwards they have in 2008/2009 as he's the only recruit that will have completed high school by the end of this season. It will be interesting to see when and how well he can return from his injury and if that will play into when he joins UW.
