Kyle Turris Update

Last Saturday UW recruit Kyle Turris scored a hat trick and had an assist against Prince George. As if that wasn't enough, he and his teammate Tyler McNeely got tossed out for fighting after a five minute checking from behind penalty was called on Prince George. The Prince George Citizen has some info on the game within a nice piece on Turris (it's about halfway down the page).

Following a two game suspension, Turris returned to the Express lineup on Friday and had an assist in a 3-1 loss to Nanaimo. Last night Turris and the Express were downed 4-1 by Cowichan Valley. Turris was named second star of the game and had the lone goal for the Express.
