Plenty O' Badger Women's Hockey News

The Badger women shot out to a 3-0 lead on Ohio State last night behind goals from Erika Lawler, Kristen Witting and Jinelle Zaugg. Ohio State came roaring back behind two goals from Wisconsin native Mallory Peckels, but couldn't get the tying goal. Jinelle Zaugg now leads the nation in scoring with seven goals.

Undergraduate Assistant and former UW player Carla MacLeod has been named to the Canadian National Team for the 2006 Four Nations Cup.

Jinelle Zaugg and Erika Lawler have been named to the US roster for the 2006 Four Nations Cup, which will be coached by Mark Johnson. The event takes place Nov. 7-12 in Ontario. There will also be a training camp from October 29th through November 4th. The Badger women are slated to play Minnesota State November 3 & 4, but have the following weekend open.
