Friday/Saturday USHL Roundup

Potential UW recruit Brett Bruneteau had a couple of power play assists Friday night for Omaha against Sioux Falls. Sam Zabkowicz had an assist for Sioux Falls in the loss. UW recruit Scott Gudmandson stopped 18 of 20 shots in the win Friday.

Wisconsinite and UW recruit Josh Turnbull scored for Waterloo in their 4-0 shutout over Ohio. Blake Kessel also had an assist in the game.

Derrick LaPoint and Justin Cseter each had two assists as Green Bay topped Indiana 7-4. Brent Gwidt for Indiana has not yet been able to register on the scoresheet in Indiana's first two games.

There was a ton of scoring in the USHL this weekend, but not too much by Wisconsin players and UW recruits!
There is one game left on the USHL schedule for the weekend....Green Bay plays Indiana at 5 PM today.
