There's a new article out on Superior native and current Waterloo Blackhawk Brett Olson.
Waterloo handled Chicago tonight in the USHL, winning 3-1. For Chicago, Aaron Schmit was -1. For Waterloo, Scott Pavelski had two assists and finished +2 and was voted Third Star of the Game. Blake Kessel had an assist and finished even for Waterloo. Teammates Craig Smith, Brett Olson and Brock Montpetit all finished even while Keegan Meuer was +1.
On Sunday, Tri-City got the best of Ohio 5-2 in the USHL. For Tri-City, Chris Hickey had an assist and finished even, while teammate Kyle Ensign also finished even. Justin Cseter was +1 in the game and drew a 10-minute abuse of officials penalty.
The Admirals are preparing to host the High School Hockey Showdown on December 27th and 28th at the Bradley Center featuring four Milwaukee area high school teams. Homestead, University School, Arrowhead and Kettle Moraine/Mukwonago will all be participating.
