Saturday in the USHL
Tri-City doubled up Ohio 4-2. Kyle Ensign was -1 for Tri-City while UW recruit Chris Hickey had an assist and was +1 for the Storm. For Ohio, Justin Cseter was -1.
Sioux City edged Sioux Falls 5-4 in a shootout. For Sioux Falls, Jake Drewiske had a goal and was even, while Eric Springer had an assist and was -1. Teammate Sam Zabkowicz finished even. Neither Springer nor Drewiske scored in the shootout.
Cedar Rapids put the smack down on Waterloo 6-2. For Waterloo, Brett Olson had an assist and finished even. Blake Kessel also finished even, while Keegan Meuer and Brock Montpetit were -1, and Craig Smith was -2.
Green Bay got past Des Moines 3-2 in regulation. Ryan Little had an assist and finished even for the Gamblers.
Omaha blanked Lincoln 2-0. Ross Henry and Travis Erstad finished even for the Stars, as did Jake Hauswirth, Matt Thurber and Seth Soley for the Lancers.
Indiana took out Chicago 5-3. Aaron Schmit finished even for Chicago while Brent Gwidt had an empty net goal and was even for Indiana.
