Team USA needed overtime yesterday to defeat Belarus by the final score of 7-6. Blake Kessel is serving as an Assistant Captain and recorded a goal and two assists for three points total. Wisconsinite and UW recruit Craig Smith is also on Team USA, but was held off the scoresheet.

Team Canada West beat Germany 7-2 yesterday, but potential UW recruit Derek Lee was not able to dent the scoresheet.

Tonight Team Canada West faces Russia, while Team USA faces Team Canada East.
