In the USHL Saturday

Omaha got past Ohio 3-2 in an overtime shootout. Scott Gudmandson was on the bench again for Omaha. Brett Bruneteau scored in the shootout for Omaha.

Tri-City smoked Indiana 7-1. Kyle Ensign, Sean Wiles and Luke Lucyk all had goals for Tri-City. Luckyk also had two assists.

Waterloo got back to their winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Green Bay. Craig Smith had a goal for Waterloo. Josh Turnbull, Craig Smith and Blake Kessel all had an assist for Waterloo, and Derrick LaPoint had an assist for Green Bay. Nick Graves played his first game in net for Green Bay, stopping 23 of 27 shots.

Sioux Falls used assists from David Solway and Patrick Tiesling to beat Des M0ines 3-1.

It was Sioux City over Chicago by a score of 5 to 3.

Lincoln downed Cedar Rapids 7 to 5.
