Friday Night in the USHL

Des Moines scored a touchdown while Lincoln could only muster a field goal (the final was 7-3). Potential UW recruit Jason Gregoire did not play in this game for Lincoln. He was in the lineup last weekend, but was not in the lineup the previous weekend. He is either visiting a lot of schools, or injured...

Sioux City shut out Chicago 4-0.

Cedar Rapids couldn't put Sioux Falls away until overtime, by a score of 4-3. Defenseman David Solway had a goal for Sioux Falls.

Green Bay got a big win over red hot Waterloo, 5-2. Green Bay has six Wisconsin players on their roster, while Waterloo has five. As such, there were lots of Wisconsinites in on the scoring action. Mike Sislo, Ryan Little and Justin Cseter all scored for Green Bay. Oddly enough, with seven goals scored in this game, there was not a single assist handed out! Josh Turnbull was held off the scoresheet, possibly for the first time all season. Keegan Meuer seems to still be playing every other game for Waterloo as he was not in the lineup last night (he has typically been playing the second game of the weekend).

Indiana squeaked past Tri-City by a score of 4-3. Sean Wiles had a goal and an assist for Tri-City.
