Brent Gwidt & Team Wisconsin Rosters

It's being reported that Brent Gwidt has FINALLY been contacted by the Badgers and will make a visit to campus on his way to Training Camp with the USHL's Indiana Ice. With 4 commitments tentatively for 2008 at forward for the Badgers, I guess they just needed to wait until they lost Sam Gagner to Major Junior, and missed out on Patrick Kane, Ben Winnett and Colton Grant for 2007 before beginning to pursue Brent Gwidt (unfortunately even the Badgers have a limited number of scholarships to offer). If the Badgers could still land Brett Bruneteau and Gwidt to go with Kyle Turris next season, they'd still be in great shape. I think Chris Hickey and/or Josh Turnbull could also possibly accelerate and come in for the 2007 season. Other potential targets for 2007 include Brennan Vargas and Ryan Schnell.

One more thing regarding Gwidt...judging from what I've read, and no other inside knowledge, it would seem to me he wants to be a Badger.

What is the deal with the Team Wisconsin rosters? The freakin' team has been picked for months and the rosters are still not posted on their website. Note to Team Wisconsin regarding putting rosters out: GIT R DONE.
