Under 18 Junior World Cup Update

The USA Selects downed Russia yesterday at the 2006 Junior World Cup by a score of 4-2. Badger recruit Ryan McDonagh scored a goal, as did potential recruit Brett Bruneteau.

In opening game action, The US defeated Finland 3-2. Brett Bruneteau assisted on the game-winning goal.

UW recruit Kyle Turris has a goal and an assist in three games for Team Canada.

Team USA will play Team Canada on Saturday at 1 PM Eastern Time for the Championship. No info is yet available for Team USA's third game which was vs. Czech Republic.
