2006 Junior Evaluation Camp

The second set of games for the USA teams at the 2006 Junior Evaluation Camp featured a lot more of the Skille-Geoffrion combo. Geoffrion assisted on a Skille goal, while Skille assisted on a Geoffrion goal when USA White defeated Finland 8-5. USA White outshot Finland 47-31.

One thing I noticed while following Geoffrion's numbers this year. He elevates his game against better competition, which makes me think he is going to be a great player for UW. His overall stats for the USNTDP U-18 team were decent as he tied for sixth in points. Geoffrion's stats vs. NCAA teams were considerably better, tying him for 3rd in points.

Team USA Blue defeated Sweden 4-2, on a shot differential of 35 to 23. Phil Kessel had a goal and an assist, while Jamie McBain had an assist and a penalty.
