With their sweep of the Mavericks, the Badger women reclaimed the top spot in this week's USCHO/CSTV poll. To achieve the sweep, the Badgers had to come from behind both nights, as the Mavericks scored early in each game.

The Badger men moved up to 10th in the USCHO/CSTV Poll, 9th in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll, and 8th in the INCH Power Rankings. Todd Milewski shared his votes in the USCHO poll -- he put Wisconsin 10th and their next opponent, Michigan Tech, 12th.

Speaking of Tech, they also moved up in all the polls this week and are currently 13th in the USCHO Poll, 14th in the USA Today Poll, and 15th in the INCH Power Rankings.

Andy Baggot has an interesting blog post today on the status of Badger recruiting and the upcoming early signing period. He specifically mentions Derek Lee. He also has updates on Josh Engel's shoulder injury and Kyle Turris's recent respiratory illness.

After leaving a game last week with an injury, Jack Skille seems to be fine. He played for Rockford in last night's game and had 7 SOG.
