Thurber & Gwidt Score in Friendship Series

Matt Thurber and the Omaha Lancers and Brent Gwidt and the Indiana Ice were in Quebec Friday and Saturday participating in the Friendship Series against the QMJHL. The Lancers went 2-0 with Wisconsinite & UW recruit Thurber being one of the players singled out for playing a good game on Friday, and Thurber scoring an unassisted shorthand goal on Saturday. Indiana went 0-2, with a shootout loss Friday and by giving up 3 goals in the last 3 minutes Saturday. Wisconsinite Brent Gwidt notched a goal in Saturday's game.
