Badgers Interested in Wiercioch

According to the Lets go DU blog, the Badgers are interested in defenseman Patrick Wiercioch of the Omaha Lancers. Wiercioch played with Kyle Turris last season in the BCHL for the Burnaby Express. He is draft eligible this season and could be a third round pick in the NHL draft. Other teams in the mix for Wiercioch's services include DU, Michigan, Michigan State and New Hampshire.
