McDonagh is # 2 Prospect for Montreal

Hockey's Future lists Ryan McDonagh as the Habs'#2 overall prospect and top defensive prospect. Sounds like the Habs like McDonagh A LOT. Which is good and bad. Good: They must like him that much for a reason. Bad: Sounds like he might not be sticking around Madison for very long.

Sometime after the draft, I remember watching an interview with McDonagh in which he said he'd reevaluate his situation after the end of the season. That interview, along with HF's take on things, makes me think that he's gone after 1 year unless he has a dismal season. Oh well, let's focus on the positive: McDonagh sounds like a pretty good player, and in 41 days we'll get to see him play!
