Friday in the USHL

Waterloo defeated Des Moines 3-1. Wisconsinites Craig Smith (2nd game in a row) and Keegan Meuer were not in the lineup, but Blake Kessel and Brock Montpetit were. There was also a new Wisconsin addition to the Waterloo roster, in the form of Scott Pavelski, Joe Pavelski's younger brother who racked up 54 points last season as a Senior with Stevens Point High School. Blake Kessel scored a goal with an assist going to Brett Olson in the game.

Chicago doubled up Green Bay 6-3. With Ryan Little out due to his Game Disqualification last night, the only Wisconsinite playing was Chicago defenseman Aaron Schmit, who scored a goal in the contest.

Lincoln and Tri-City were to square off as well, but no information on the game is available yet. I'll attempt to get the info and provide an update tomorrow....EDIT: According to the Storm website they defeated Lincoln in a shootout after a 3-3 tie.
