USHL Preseason

Last night Waterloo played Cedar Rapids in a pre-season tilt, losing 4-3. Wisconsinites Craig Smith, Blake Kessel and Brett Olson appear to have been held out of the game. Wisconsinites Keegan Meuer and Brock Montpetit both played for Waterloo with Meuer picking up an assist and finishing even, while Montpetit finished -1.

Tonight in the USHL, Green Bay and Chicago will face off in an exhibition game. Wisconsinite defenseman Aaron Schmit will likely be suited up for Chicago, while Wisconsinite defenseman and UW recruit Ryan Little may see action for Green Bay. Mark Mazzoleni, Head Coach of the Green Bay Gamblers is expecting a number of returning players to step up this season.
