Vetter Named to Team USA for 2007 IIHF Women's World Championship

Jessie Vetter was one of two goaltenders named to Team USA for the 2007 IIHF Women's World Championship roster on Sunday. There had been three goaltenders on the roster up until Sunday, but Vetter and Chanda Gunn were named to the final squad.

Vetter's addition results in six current or former Wisconsin Badgers on the squad. The four current Badgers are Meghan Duggan, Erika Lawler, Jinelle Zaugg and Jesse Vetter. The two former Badgers are Molly Engstrom and Kerry Weiland. In addition there is a future Badger on the team as Hillary Knight from Choate is a high school Senior and has verballed to play for Wisconsin next year.
