Saturday BCHL Playoffs

Burnaby took the loss 3-2 against Nanaimo to even the series at one game a piece last night. The Express were outshot 49 to 18 in the game, and Kyle Turris was kept off the scoresheet. Despite not picking up any points last night, Turris still leads the BCHL Playoff scoring race by 3 points and has 8 goals and 10 assists for 18 points in 9 games.

Salmon Arm also was beaten last night 3-1 by Penticton, and is now down two games to none in their series. UW recruit Scott Gudmandson stopped 28 0f 31 shots in the contest. Potential UW recruit Derek Lee was named Second Star of the Game and had an assist.
