USHL Update

Here's the games update since Sunday:

Des Moines blanked Ohio 2-0 on Sunday. Justin Cseter finished even for Ohio.

Sioux Falls edged Lincoln 4-3. Jake Drewiske had two assists for Sioux Falls in the game. Sam Zabkowicz finished -3 for Sioux Falls while Pat Johnson was -2 for Lincoln.

Cedar Rapids outgunned Sioux City 6-4.

Indiana squeaked past Waterloo 3-2. Blake Kessel had an assist for Waterloo and was -1 for the game, as was Craig Smith. Keegan Meuer did not play in the game for Waterloo. Brent Gwidt finished even for Indiana.

Lincoln beat the Gamblers 3-1 in the debut of Travis Erstad for Lincoln. Mike Sislo had an assist for Green Bay. Erstad took 3 shots but did not have a point and finished even for Lincoln.

Omaha tripped up Cedar Rapids 5-4 in overtime. Matt Thurber stayed hot for Omaha with a goal and a +1 in the game. Justin Johnson had one shot on net and finished -1 for Omaha.

Sioux City spanked Tri-City 5-1. Luke Lucyk finished +1 and Sean Wiles finished even for Tri-City.

Des Moines tiptoed past Sioux Falls in an overtime shootout 3-2. Patrick Tiesling had a goal for Sioux Falls and finished +1.

Waterloo hammered Ohio 6-1. Josh Turnbull had 3 assists for Waterloo, and teammates Brett Olson and Blake Kessel also each had an assist. Keegan Meuer played in the game and finished even.

Chicago handled Indiana 5-2. Sean Dolan had an assist for Chicago and finished +2.
