Five Badger Women Named to US National Team Roster

Five current or former Wisconsin Badgers have been named to the US National Team roster for the IIHF Women's World Championships being held in Manitoba April 3-10. The three current Badgers are Meghan Duggan, Erika Lawler and Jinelle Zaugg. The two former Badgers are Molly Engstrom and Kerry Weiland.

UW goaltender Jesse Vetter is one of three goaltenders currently on the roster. The roster will be trimmed to two goaltenders on Saturday, so Vetter could be the sixth Badger to make the roster.

In addition there is a future Badger on the team as Hillary Knight from Choate is a high school Senior and has verballed to play for Wisconsin next year.
