Update on UW Recruits in the BCHL

Just a quick update on UW's two recruits currently playing in the BCHL. Over the weekend Goaltender Scott Gudmandson played in both games for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks recording a 7-5 win over the Surrey Eagles while stopping 39 of 44 shots, and a 5-1 win over Penticton by stopping 20 of 21 shots faced. Since moving to the BCHL Gudmandson is now 2-4 in 7 games, has a gaa of 4.65 and a 87.80 save percentage.

Kyle Turris also played in two games for Burnaby of the BCHL over the weekend. On Saturday he put up four goals and two assists in the Express' 9-6 win over Quesnel. Last night Turris scored Burnaby's only goal in a 4-1 loss to the Powell River Kings. Turris is currently ninth in scoring in the BCHL, and second in points per game at 2.1 points per game for players with at least 10 games played. He has scored 37 goals and 23 assists for a total of 60 points in just 29 games.
