Friday Night in the USHL

Here's how Wisconsinites and UW recruits fared in the USHL Friday night:

Tri-City edged Waterloo 4-3. Craig Smith finished +1 for Waterloo, while Luke Lucyk finished +1 for Tri-City. Keegan Meuer was not active for Waterloo in the game.

Omaha downed Lincoln 5-2. Matt Thurber for Omaha and Pat Johnson for Lincoln both finished -1 in the game.

Sioux Falls handled Sioux City 4-1. Jacob Drewiske and David Solway both had goals for Sioux Falls, with Solway also having an assist.

Des Moines defeated Ohio 3-1.

Indiana beat Chicago 3-1. Brent Gwidt finished te game +1.

Cedar Rapids put the smack down on Green Bay, 8-4. Justin Cseter had a goal for Green Bay, as did Mike Sislo. Sislo, Ryan Little and Derrick LaPoint also had assists for Green Bay. Sislo was named First Star of the Game. Nick Graves got some time in net in the game after Adam Avramenko gave up the fourth goal, but ended up with the loss.
