2007 Signed Letters of Intent for UW Men

Goaltender Scott Gudmandson, defenseman Cody Goloubef, defenseman Ryan McDonagh, defenseman Brendan Smith, forward Josh Turnbull and forward Kyle Turris have all signed letters of intent to attend UW next season as anticipated. Garrett Suter is another defensman who may join UW next season. Suter has been ruled academically ineligible the past two seasons, and may take another run at eligibility in 2007.

Wisconsin still needs 2-3 forwards to fill their 2007 class, but it appears as if Mike Eaves is not going to "reach" for a player that's not ready or not of the caliber he wants according to the article today in the Wisconsin State Journal. Jan Mikael Juutilainen, Jason Gregoire and Mike Connelly are all still possibilities at forward for next season. I would think there is also a strong possibility the Badgers would bring in one or more partial scholarship/walkon type players as well.
