2007 UW Forward Recruits

Todd Milewski has confirmed what I've been saying for months, namely that Josh Turnbull will join the Badgers for the 2007 season. I have also stated that I think Chris Hickey will enter UW next season directly from high school as the Badgers have a definite need for 4 forwards, and a likely need for 5 forwards next season if Skille goes pro (which is likely). Right now, only Turnbull and Turris are known to be coming in at forward next season. Also, Matt Ford is the only forward to graduate in 2007-2008, and the Badgers have a plethora of forward recruits lined up for 2008: Chris Hickey, Matt Thurber, Brock Montpetit and Craig Smith (2008 or 2009). I say bring Hickey in next season to alleviate the logjam in 2008....besides, he'll likely develop more quickly with the Badgers than playing Junior Hockey anyway-just look at John Mitchell.
