Buc Bowl-Day Two
Day two of the Buc Bowl did not bring a whole lot more scoring for Wisconsinites. Justin Cseter had the best performance in Green Bay's 6-2 victory over Sioux Falls with a goal and an assist. Mike Sislo for Green Bay and Jake Drewiske for Sioux Falls also got on the score sheet, Drewiske with a goal, Sislo with an assist. Matt Thurber had an assist in Omaha's game, as did Brett Olson for Waterloo and Nathan Lawrence for Chicago.
The penalty barrage continued at the Buc Bowl, with 40 penalties called in the Lincoln-Waterloo game.
UW recruit Chris Hickey was listed on the scoresheet for Tri-City in their first game originally. Now his name does not appear on the scoresheet, but his stats for that one game are listed under Tri-City's team stats. The stats show him not having a good first game, finishing -2....assuming he was there! It's very strange as the scoresheet does not have his number from Pointstreak (27) as being on the ice for any goals, nor are there any numbers that they list as being on the ice for goals that are not accounted for by their stat sheet. I might actually just think I was crazy for thinking I saw it on the scoresheet, were it not for the fact that his stats are listed for the team in Poinstreak.
