Trio of UW Recruits Power SSM Boys

Shattuck St. Mary's Boys Hockey team has advanced to the National Championship in Fraser, Michigan. They will begin play on March 28th with a first-round matchup against Belle Tire.

The University of Wisconsin has verbal commitments from three of the top forwards on the SSM roster. Brock Montpetit is Junior from Somerset, WI and is currently fourth on the team in scoring and second on the team in goals with 31 goals and 26 assists for 57 points in 55 games. Jordan Murray is a Junior from Faribault, MN and is currently third on the team in scoring and second on the team in assists with 21 goals and 38 assists for 59 points in 55 games. Derek Stepan hails from Hastings, MN and is also a Junior. He is second on the team in points and leads the team in goals with 36 goals and 32 assists for 68 points in 55 games.
