There were 5 games in the "U" last night. Here's how Wisconsinites and UW recruits and potential recruits fared....

Omaha took out Lincoln 4-1. Garrett Suter had an assist for Omaha, and potential UW recruit Brett Bruneteau scored a goal. Potential UW recruit Jason Gregoire was not in the lineup for Lincoln last night. Scott Gudmandson did not play in net for Omaha. Matt Thurber returned to the ice for Omaha finishing +1 following the tragic death of his mother.

Sioux Falls slid past Chicago 4-3. Sam Zabkowicz had an assist for Sioux Falls and finished +2.

Waterloo was beaten by Des Moines 6-4. Josh Turnbull had a goal for Waterloo in the first period. He seems to be a quick starter as he has scored a lot of his goals this season in the first period. UW could definitely use some goal scoring, and early goal scoring is even better! Keegan Meuer was not in the lineup for Waterloo.

Green Bay put up six goals to defeat Indiana 6-4. Mike Sislo had two goals for Green Bay, and Derrick La Point got one as well. Justin Cseter had two assists for Green Bay and LaPoint also had a helper. For Indiana, Brent Gwidt notched an assist.
