Team Wisconsin Girls Opening Weekend

The Team Wisconsin Girls opened their season this week with a three-game set against the Marquette Iron Rangers. Team Wisconsin came strong out of the gate in the first game securing a 1-0 victory. In the second and third game, the Iron Rangers were victorious by a score of 4-0. One of the players told me Team Wisconsin did not play very well in the second game, but actually played pretty well in the final game, even though they suffered a loss. The other thing I heard about these games was that the dehumidifier was out in the Iron Rangers rink, and there was so much fog the goaltenders could not tell which teams players were on when they were at the blue line of their own zone. Next weekend Girls Team Wisconsin hosts a tournament in Stevens Point.
