Kyle Turris' Season Starts in Just 11 Days

UW recruit Kyle Turris and the Burnaby Express of the BCHL will begin their season on September 15th. Already, the Express has played several exhibition games. Here's a recent picture of Turris and a story of the camp he and his teammates helped Coach for kids in Burnaby just a day after he returned from Slovakia as a gold medalist for Canada's U-18 team.

It appears that Turris is going to switch his jersey number from 8 to 19 this season, according to the Burnaby roster I saw on the new & improved BCHL website. The new BCHL website has scrolling pictures, one of which is of Kyle Turris.
