Potential UW Recruit Honing Skills in Beer & Pretzel League

One of UW's potential recruits for 2008, Brett Bruneteau of the Omaha Lancers and member of the USA's U-18 squad heading to Slovakia for the Junior World Cup, has been staying sharp this summer playing in the Beer & Pretzel League (BPHL) in Omaha! As much as I would like to take credit for making this up, it's actually true.

When you think about a potential UW recruit in this league it really makes you laugh. I'm also hoping he's been a little busy making the U-18 team and trying to find a college team to play for, because he is only 38th in scoring in the league as of today!
