Report on Kyle Turris-Badger Recruit for 2007

Burnaby rookie Kyle Turris, a 16-year-old phenom, reportedly had nine National Hockey League scouts watching him in action this weekend. The six-footer, who has 14 points in 11 playoff games, already has a scholarship commitment to the University of Wisconsin for 2007/08.

I have heard reports that he is not the most physical guy, but at age 16 he's probably one of, if not the youngest guys in that league. Maybe he'll end up spending a little more time at UW to develop size-wise more than anything as it sounds like he has the prerequisite NHL skill set.
